Role Overview

As a Traveling MEP Project Manager, you will:

  • Oversee all MEP scopes (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, low-voltage) from design through installation and turnover.

  • Manage subcontractors, engineers, and field teams to meet cost, quality, safety, and schedule expectations.

  • Lead technical reviews, procurement, and installation on mission-critical builds.

  • Coordinate commissioning and closeout with clients, consultants, and trade partners.

  • Mentor MEP engineers and superintendents while collaborating with national MEP leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead MEP design coordination and execution

  • Manage technical reviews, budgets, and procurement

  • Ensure safety and quality standards across large project sites

  • Oversee field installation and seamless project handoff

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to project staff


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of MEP management (preconstruction + field operations)

  • Strong technical expertise in MEP systems, sequencing, and cost engineering

  • Ability to lead large teams and partner effectively with owners, engineers, and trade contractors

  • Experience with data centers, pharma, healthcare, or semiconductor projects

  • LEED accreditation preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, BIM360, Smartsheet
